What are Line Items?

For each shipment, you can specify the details about what you are shipping using the Line Items section.

Here, you can provide dimensions, weight, quantity, and other information about the products, as well as indicate if the line item requires Hazmat handling.

When shipping LTL, it is critical to specify these details as accurately as possible.  

The following fields are required: Description, Quantity, Total Weight, Length, Width, Height, and Freight Class.

If the actual product that is loaded onto the truck does not match the details specified when booking, you may be charged for this difference by the LTL carrier.

When shipping FTL, the details of the line items is not required, and you can simply enter a description and total weight of the shipment.
